Will it really only take me a day to create my website?
Yes! Our designer tested it out and wrote the copy and designed a page in a day. If you’re not an experienced designer then the design part might take you a bit longer. Here’s the breakdown…
You’ll need about 1.5 hours to watch the tutorial videos and answer the Six-Question-Quiz before you start writing.
Using our copy template and AI prompts we are confident you can write your whole site in 3 hours max.
The design will depend on the platform you’re using and the experience you have
I have ZERO design experience. How will I use this?
Don’t worry, the copy template is a Google Doc (phew!) so you can write in Google Docs.
When it comes to designing, we recommend you use a simple “drag and drop” builder like Squarespace or Wix. We have included a handy doc so you can decide which platform builder is best for you.
You’ll also find a PDF with a mock-up design in the kit so you know how to organize your page and give you lots of inspo as you build your site.
You don’t have to use the Figma file mentioned on this page — we think that’s best for designers.
Can I customize the templates to fit my brand?
Yes! It’s super easy to change all the fonts and brand colors in Figma and Joana’s made a great little video to walk you through it.
Can I use these templates with any web platform?
The template is perfect if you’re using Webflow, WordPress, or Framer.
If you are using a “drag and drop” platform builder like Squarespace, Wix, or Showit, our design template will serve as a perfect example to help you organize your page.
Do I need a one-page website or a 5-page website?
Great question! We believe you need a powerful one-page website as a minimum.
Many of our students do go on to create a 5-page website later but this takes more time, effort, and research and we don’t want you to lose out on landing dream clients in the meantime. So, that’s why we are obsessed with helping creatives launch a powerful one-page website ASAP.
